Involved in an Accident? Let Us Handle the Rest.

Step 1: Stay Calm & Gather Information

- Exchange particulars with all involved parties (Name, NRIC, Contact, Vehicle Number, Insurer).

- Note down vehicle numbers and third-party details (witnesses, passengers, etc.).

Step 4: Make a Traffic Police Report (if required)

You must make a Traffic Police report within 24 hours if the accident involves any of the following:

  • Fatality

  • Pedestrian or cyclist

  • Foreign vehicle

  • Government property

  • Hit-and-run case

  • Any injury case where:
    a) Someone was conveyed to hospital from the accident scene, or
    b) Medical leave of 3 days or more was issued to any party

step 5: Report to Your Insurer Within 24 Hours

Under the Motor Claims Framework, all accidents must be reported to your insurer within 24 hours or the next working day, even if no claim is made.

❌ Failure to Report May Result In:

  • Insurer repudiating liability

  • Loss of your No-Claims Discount (NCD)

  • Insurer cancelling or refusing to renew your policy
